Lost Lake Trail
Description:
This trail is wide and easy to follow. Most of it travels through spruce and lodgepole pine forest. It passes through a travel zone within the Comanche Peak Wilderness. Here camping is permitted at designated sites only. Signs point the way to camp sites. The trail climbs a steep rocky incline as you approach the Stormy Peaks Trail. It leaves the Stormy Peaks intersection and travels west through dense willows and spruce. The trees begin to thin out as you climb higher. Soon you enter a large meadow, passing the trail to the Lost Meadow Campsites. The trail continues west for another 1.3 miles to Lost Lake.
