Hutcheson Lake Trail

Description:
The Hutcheson Lake Trail is an unimproved trail between Pear Lake and a series of lakes called Hutcheson Lakes. It climbs about 300 feet in about .79 miles. The trail begins near the hitch rack at Pear Lake. It climbs the ridge south of the lake and travels along the ridge to the west above the lake. The trail gets very faint as you get farther west. It is often difficult to distinguish from game trails. You'll soon find yourself bushwhacking through the forest. Continue west and then south until you reach the first lake. The other lakes are to the west in open country. You can get to them by following Cony Creek. A good topo map and compass is essential here.
