Glacier Gorge Trail

Description:
      The Glacier Gorge Trail connects the Glacier Gorge Trailhead with Bear Lake. From Bear Lake the trail descends 213 feet in .34 miles. It is very wide and smooth. The trail intersects the Bear Lake Horse Bypass just above the Glacier Gorge Parking area.

Directions:
     The Glacier Gorge Trail connects the Bear Lake Trailhead with The Glacier Gorge Junction Trailhead. Take Highway 36 from the Beaver Meadows Entrance to the Bear Lake Road. Follow Bear Lake Road to its end to the trailhead. The trailhead has room for about 250 vehicles but fills up early. There are restrooms and trash bins at the trailhead. You can access the bottom end of this trail from the Glacier Gorge Junction Trailhead (7.7 miles on the Bear Lake Road).
