Beaver Meadows Loop Trail
Description:
The Beaver Meadows
Loop Trails are a series of trails that travel through the Beaver Meadows
area of the Park. They total 5.7 miles in length. They are generally level
and easy to hike. Horse traffic can be heavy at times from the nearby stables
at Moraine Park. These trails are especially good for viewing wildlife, particularly
elk. The trails travel in and out of ponderosa pine stands. They can be accessed
on the north from the Upper Beaver Meadows Road and on the south from the
Moraine Park Road. Great views of the surrounding peaks can be found at many
spots along these trails.
