Aluvial Fan Trail
Description:
The Alluvial Fan Trail is a short (1/3 mile)
tour of the devastation caused by the Lawn Lake dam break in 1982. The travels
in an east-west direction. Parking is available at either end of the trail.
This trail is paved and is easy to hike. There is a short loop that brings
you close to the cascading waters of the Roaring River. The display of rubble
illustrates the awesome power of water.
