Shadow Mountain Reservoir

Description:
Shadow Mountain Reservior is a large lake located just outside of the souththwest boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park. Most of the shoreline is accessible by vehicle or hiking for fishing. However, because of its size, it is usually fished by boat. There are many places to launch boats and camp. Camping is only allowed in developed areas.

Shadow Mountain Reservoir is located about 12 miles north of the town of Granby on Highway 34. The town of Granby is located about 85 miles northwest of Denver via I70 and US40.
