Dowdy Lake
Description:
Dowdy
Lake is a good sized lake near Red Feather Lakes at an elevation of 8,120
feet. The lake is approximately 104 acres in size and has a shoreline of about
three miles. The maximum depth of the lake is about 28 feet. Motorized boats
are permitted here. Trolling usually works best for rainbow, brown, brook,
and cutthroat trout. There is a dayuse area with a boat ramp and a campground
on the south shore.

Turn west on 74E for 25 miles to Red Feather Lakes and the turn off. Turn right
and travel .5 miles to the entrance.
