Search Screen

You may search for trails by:

     selecting trails from nine trail areas

      selecting from trails leading to a destination

      selecting from trails accessed from a       trailhead

Trail Areas

     The Park has been divided into nine trail areas. Place your mouse cursor over each trail area button at the bottom of the screen to display the area on the Park map. Click on each trail area button to display a list of trails within each area.

Wild Basin Area Trails

     There are twelve trails located in the Wild Basin Area. Place your mouse cursor over the name of a trail in the list to the right to highlight the trail on the map. Click on the name to display information about that trail.

Finch Lake - Pear Lake Trail

     This screen provides access to:

     A detailed trail description

     An altitude profile indicating difficulty

     A trail map with photos along the trail

     Directions on how to get to the trail

Altitude Profile

     This screen contains the phyical properties of the trail with sections rated for difficulty.

Trail Map

     This screen contains a topographic map of the area traversed by the trail. Click on the camera icons to see photos along the trail. This map can be printed on your printer by clicking on the Print button.

Trail Photo

     Trail photos were taken along the trail and have captions describing the scene.

Directions

     Details directions on how to get to a trail are provided including pictures of the trailhead. This page can be printed on your printer by clicking on the Print button.

Destinations List

     Trail information can also be accessed by selecting from a list of 76 destinations. Click on a destination name to list the trails leading to that destination.

Destination Screen

     This screen contains information about a destination, a photo of the Park feature at that destination, and a list of trails leading to the destination. Click on a trail name to display that trail's main screen.

     This screen provides access to:

     A detailed trail description

     An altitude profile indicating difficulty

     A trail map with photos along the trail

     Directions on how to get to the trail

Trailhead List

     Trail information can also be accessed by selecting from a list of 46 trailheads. Click on a trailhead name to list the trails that can be accessed from that trailhead.

Trailhead Screen

     This screen contains information about a trailhead, a photo of the trailhead, and a list of trails that can be accessed from the trailhead. Click on a trail name to display that trail's main screen.

Ypsilon LakeTrail

     This screen provides access to:

     A detailed trail description

     An altitude profile indicating difficulty

     A trail map with photos along the trail

     Directions on how to get to the trail

Help Screen

     Many screens have help buttons that provide access to help on how to access various types of trail information.
