Brown's Park Campground
     

     Browns Park Campground is located about 17.5 miles north of Highway 14 on County Road 80C at an elevation of 8,400 feet. The campground is situated along Jinks Creek near the Rawah Wilderness. There are 28 sites in the campground. Twenty five are suitable for RV camping and three are more suitable for tents. Most of the sites are in heavily wooded areas of aspen and lodgepole pine. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 30 feet.
     The roads through the campground are packed dirt and sand. There are no water hydrants and two restrooms. Both of the restrooms will accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are not accepted. The season for this campground normally runs from May through September, depending on the weather. Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in Jinx and McIntyre Creeks.

HIKING: Hiking is available on the Link and McIntyre trails going into the Rawah Wilderness. The trailhead is located northwest of the campground.

BICYCLING: Bicycling along the Laramie River Road and County Road 80C offers opportunities for seeing deer, elk, and moose as well as beautiful scenery.

Directions:
     
Take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins to Laporte. Continue on Highway 287 to Highway 14. Travel west on 14 for 50 miles to the Laramie River Road. Turn right and travel 15 miles to County Road 80C. Turn left and go 2.5 miles to the campground. The campground is on the left side of the road.
