Jack's Gulch Campground
     

     Jacks Gulch Campground is located about 6.4 miles south of Highway 14 on the Pingree Park Road at an elevation of 8,100 feet. The campground is situated in a large mixed ponderosa pine and aspen stand. There are 70 sites in the campground. Sixty are suitable for RV camping and ten are more suitable for tents. Most of the sites wooded. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. Some of the sites have electrical hookups. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 50 feet. This campground is one of the few campgrounds to have facilities for horses. An equestrian loop has five sites with four pipe corrals each for camping with your horses. There is also a group camping area in the campground.
     The roads through the campground are gravel. There are seven water hydrants and six restrooms. All of the restrooms will accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are accepted for the group camping area and equestrian sites 57 and 58. They can be made 5 - 240 days in advance. The season for this campground normally runs from May through mid November, depending on the weather.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in the South Fork of the Cache La Poudre River, Fish Creek, and Little Beaver Creek.

HIKING: Hiking is available on trails within the campground (wheelchair accessible) and on the nearby Flowers, Little Beaver Creek, and Fish Creek trails.

BICYCLING: The old Flowers Road and numerous jeep roads offer ample opportunity for mountain bike rides.

HORSEBACK RIDING: The Flowers, Little Beaver Creek, and Fish Creek trails offer great rides for equestrians.

Directions:
     Take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins to Laporte. Continue on Highway 287 to Highway 14. Travel west on 14 for 24 miles to the Pinegree Park Road. Turn left and travel 6.4 miles to the campground. The campground is on the right side of the road.
